Turtle Fest 2013 - Saturday, April 13th

Celebrating 10 Years of Ocean Conservation
"Every One Makes a Difference"

Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 10th Annual TurtleFest on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year's theme is "Celebrating 10 Years of Ocean Conservation, Every One Makes a Difference." Over 12,000 guests will join together at TurtleFest 2013 at the free-admission event which focuses on promoting conservation through up close interactions with threatened and endangered sea turtles, as well as music, art, shopping, educational presentations, games, a Global Village, and other activities.

In its tenth year, TurtleFest  2013 will feature a student art contest for the second year. Palm Beach County students in grades 4 through 12 submitted hundreds of pieces of environmental-themed artwork. A jury awarded a first, second, and third-place for each age submission category, a Best in Show, and honorable mentions. Winners will be revealed at the event and their artwork will be displayed in a special exhibit at TurtleFest 2013.

Free admission to TurtleFest 2013 is courtesy of the event's presenting sponsors.

2013 Palm Beach Classic - Play At The Plate

Tenth Annual "Palm Beach Classic" April 4-7, 2013

PATP Palm Beach logo
Our inaugural event was held here in 2004, and we are returning for the 10th year this coming April, to one of the best baseball facilities in America, Roger Dean Stadium the spring home of the Cardinals and Marlins.
You'll play 7 games over the 4 day event, have your own locker in either the Marlins or Cardinals side of camp, enjoy a catered lunch every day, have your laundry done by a clubbie, BP every morning on a back field, a great giveaway gift and a chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful area's in the country; the Greater Palm Beaches.
There will be a practice session for early arrivals on a back field or 2 with the pitching machine and cages all set up as you work on your stroke and field some grounders. Play will begin the next morning and you'll be back at your hotel (We hope it's the Embassy Suites) around 5 o'clock to enjoy some pool time and free happy hour with your old and new friends.
Roger Dean Locker RoomThis is PATP's crown jewel. We are very proud of what we have accomplished in Palm Beach over the past 9 years. It truly is one of the best baseball experiences you will ever have.
This is the perfect spring training event for the adult baseball player. You'll be miles ahead of the competition back home after just 4 days of practice and 7 games under your belt. And the fee is still $525 per player.
Our Hotel of choose is the Embassy Suites in Palm Beach Gardens. You will be guaranteed the lowest price possible only if you go through PATP. We will have the rate and more info for you very soon.
As most of you know, this facility is still in use . There are minor league players and major league rehabbing players. Please respect their space. If you are in the Cardinals clubhouse, you must enter from the door behind the outfield wall and proceed to the clubhouse down the hall. There is no reason for you to be wandering around the building. Do not use the glass doors that lead to the fields. Back door only!!
